I've noticed we never say "it's the same shit on both sides". Because it is politically incorrect, this time literally.
Politically, because it's said when talking about politics. Incorrect, because "both" assumes there are only two. Well, this is not some rich country where nobody has the money to start a third party. Even when they make a new movement, you find out it's not a new car, it's a new engine block for the old one. It gets co-opted into one of the two parties.
But this is Serbia, we are poor enough to finance multiple parties. So the politically correct version of the above is "on all sides"...
I guess most of the time even the activists don't bother to make an exception for their own party. Maybe, I never heard the rest of the sales pitch of the one that tried to spread it over my table. We immediately started asking hard questions ("Who and why and by what authority signed the Agenda 21 contract for the city? Did you read that at all?") and the conversation died on the spot. Never heard the rest. So I can only guess.
